—Introduction

Blood Will Tell is the first instalment in the An Untold Tale series, uploaded onto ljanesmith.net in January, 2008.[1] It is set in an alternative universe.

Author's notesEdit

"This is a fantasy of a fantasy. The idea is : what might have happened at the end of Dark Reunion if Stefan had been persuaded to drink the blood of his three friends in order to be more powerful when he fought that night. It might have happened something like this... Please note that the text from the actual book, Dark Reunion, is paraphrased and condensed. Rating: for mature people who enjoy vampire tales."

ErrorsEdit

  • Bonnie tells Stefan that she is eighteen years old. However, in After Hours she claims that she has just turned seventeen. With After Hours taking place in September and Blood Will Tell the following June, it is impossible for her to have turned eighteen since then.
