Raymond Hernandez (b. 1973 or 1974; also known as Ray) was a human who attended Robert E. Lee High School. By September, 1991, Raymond had entered a romantic relationship with Bonnie McCullough.[3] They attended the Homecoming Dance together, arriving at the Gilbert house with Matt Honeycutt and Ed Goff for her and getting a lift with Matt to the school. The couple kept a constant stream of witticisms for the whole journey.[4] They enjoyed a dance on the dance floor before Meredith Sulez called Bonnie away. Raymond and Ed looked unhappy as their dates left in search of Elena Gilbert.[5]
In 1992, Raymond graduated Robert E. Lee. After the ceremony, he invited all of his classmates to a party at his house that night.[6]
